Board of Directors
Keith Beverly, CFA, CFP®, MBA
Early in life, Keith experienced, first-hand, the impact dedicated, concerned adults can have in motivating and enhancing the lives of young people. He grew up in Washington, DC during a time when many of his peers were falling victim to crime, drugs and, worst of all, apathy. Thankfully, Keith participated in numerous enrichment programs as a young man. These programs were staffed by volunteers and professional educators that understood how important it was to invest time and attention in the next generation. This foundation planted the seed that blossomed into an intense desire to help young people succeed. Keith, calling upon his own life experiences, helped conceptualize a program that complements the current educational curriculum. In an effort to promote continued student nurturing and growth, he co-founded IT’S TIME with Zalenda Cyrille.
Keith is the Executive Director of IT’S TIME. He received an undergraduate degree, with University and College Honors, from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business. He received his MBA from The University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business where he attended on a full tuition scholarship as a Dean’s Fellow. Keith is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner.
