Morris Clarke, Guest Financial Literacy Instructor
As a banker in the J.P. Morgan Washington, DC office, Morris Clarke oversees client relationships providing strategic advice and consultation while coordinating access to the firm’s internal strategists, portfolio specialists and external client advisors. Morris has exclusively focused on working with affluent individuals, families and institutional entities since 2004. He has over 10 years experience working with public and private business owners in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Morris was a Private Wealth Advisor with Goldman Sachs & Co., and started his advisory career with Ernst & Young.
Morris graduated with a Masters in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business, where he was awarded the Coca-Cola merit based scholarship. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering and minor in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T State University. In addition to his MBA, he also holds the Series 3, 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Morris is active in multiple local community organizations, including Capital Partners for Education, a program that improves the futures of low-income students through scholarship and mentoring initiatives. Morris and his wife, Kalena, live in Washington, DC with their son, Aaron and daughter, Bailey
