Prashanth Swamy, Intern
Prashanth Swamy is a 2010 graduate from Carnegie Mellon University. Earning a BS in Biology with a minor in International Relations, he is currently a research fellow at the National Institutes of Health.
His research involves working to develop immunosuppressive therapies for patients with myelodysplasia, a bone marrow disorder characterized by ineffective production of blood cells. Prashanth, a future doctor whose community involvement extends beyond the field of medicine, believes he has the ability, passion and responsibility to make this a better world.
Championing IT’S TIME’s vision and supporting its mission, Prashanth has decided to join our team. His intelligence, focus, and sense of commitment will undoubtedly prove a valuable asset.
